Cal-ESAR is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization that is prepared to respond 24/7/365. Most of the cost of the preparation and response is covered by the members themselves, but we can always use assistance with funds and materials for equipment purchases and training. This includes the wear and tear on team vehicles, rescue and communications equipment, facilities and various supplies. No charges are ever made to subjects or local governments. All of our funding comes from membership dues, grants and donations from people like you or your organization.
Cal-ESAR is listed as a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization with the Internal Revenue Service and thus all donations are tax deductible.
